Thirunelly Agri Producer Company is a Farmer Producer Organisation supported by NABARD. We are a collective of organic farmers cultivating traditional rice varieties of Wayanad. The collective believes in promotion of traditional rice and organic farming while ensuring fair price to the farmer and nutritious and safe food to consumers.Our district Wayanad got it's name from our famous 'Wayals' or paddy lands. Wayanad rice varieties like the red bold Wayanadan Thondi or the aromatic Gandhakasala have always been the favourites of malayalees who love their rice. Besides these our farmers cultivate many others like the medicinal Valiachennellu, considered the lady's rice, given to women during and after pregnancy and the fragrant Mullankaima.
